The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads
international efforts to defeat hunger.

The OIE is the intergovernmental organization responsible for improving animal health
It is recognized as a reference organization by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and in 2018 has a
total of 182
Member Countries. The OIE maintains permanent relations with nearly 75 other international and
organizations and has Regional and sub-regional Offices on every continent.
